HNA News: Crime Watch Update: Assailant Arrested, Theft on Halcyon

1. Assailant in Assault in Alta Bates Parking Area off Webster between
Telegraph and Halcyon Arrested

The man who assaulted our neighbor Matthew was arrested after behaving
erratically in front of Walgreen's. Matthew was able to i.d. him and
will be hearing from the D.A. for follow-up. He and his family are
doing well and are appreciative of all the well wishes and concern of
neighbors following Saturday's attack.

2. Theft of Car Parts on Halcyon Court

A neighbor on Halcyon Court reports: "On 1-6-06, between 8pm and 9am,
my truck had the left rear headlamp and two front blinker lamps
stolen: $143 worth of missing parts. The car was parked in the
well-lit car port. No car alarm, but not sure if it would have helped
anyway as the parts were stripped from the outside by removing a few
screws."
